It's definitely springtime... mom had me capture a big scary spider. Of course, she didn't ask me to capture it, she asked me to KILL it... in kind of a frantic voice.

It annoys me he's slightly soft. Man, what I would do for a better macro lens. Regardless, I'll be trying to get sharper versions, tomorrow.

The surface tension shadows are great! I'm glad you didn't kill the spider. In our house, if we don't want them inside, we always catch and release them, never kill...

Thank you very much. :) I do my very best to never kill spiders. However, we have zillions of them. Living way out in the country by a pond... they're everywhere. Sometimes they get accidentally eaten or stepped on or washed down a drain or inadvertently squished.
