Female Hyalophora cecropia moth, six-inches long. Raised an hour's drive from Fargo, ND... in Minnesota. She's already mated and has laid a couple dozen eggs... so, I'll be raising her offspring this summer.

I was kidding. Although who knows, maybe it's Fargo's next tourism campaign.

Actually, my dad met the ad exec who came up with that slogan. The guy made bajillions of dollars.

i just love this type of moth. it's so vibrant and you can't help but notice it when it's around, all those bright colors. kinda like me. most people feel me coming from a mile away. yeah, i got big energy that way lol
